Titled: The Five Most Useful Tools To Reduce Stress

Hello,

I hope all is well and my words find you doing great.

I started thinking about how I was going to write my newsletter months ago when I first released my ebook. Learning ways to do my part in helping others with their anxiety. In fact, I was supposed to be writing this very newsletter you are now reading over a month ago, but due to some personal issues I was forced to push back my plans to get my newsletter out.

My October newsletter will be the first ever for me to be mailed out. I'm very excited, but also know this newsletter is just a small step and I'm looking for ways to do even more. It is my hopes this newsletter will give you lots of ideas and help to raise awareness of anxiety disorders.

In this newsletter I will be focusing on stress and how to reduce it in your life. With the holidays waiting just around the corner, stress seems to mount higher each day as we approach them. I have found ways to reduce stress and anxiety in my own life that I feel will benefit others. So here they are...

The Five Most Useful Tools To Reduce Stress:
  1. Eating Well: Eating healthy meals is a great way to reduce stress. Getting the daily vitamins your body needs is not only good for your immune system, but good for helping you to relax. The less coffee, soda, and junk food you eat and drink, the less anxiety will be triggered by stress. Check out http://www.grainpower.org for America's healthiest sandwich recipes.

  2. Be Active: The idea of exercise may sound silly, but it has become a serious issue. According to the National Association for Sport and Physical Education, constantly sitting down without activity can lead to serious weight problems, and other health issues. Even doing yoga can relax your mind and body and reduce stress in your life. Even just stretching releases tension in your muscles brought on by stress and anxiety. Stretch away stress in bed! You can find soothing moves in Genie Tortell and Ted Kavanau's new book, 'Get Fit In Bed'. Go here to read about it http://www.tinyurl.com/y7vnek

  3. Just Chill Out: Curl up with a sketch pad and discover your inner artist. Visit http://www.yourtube.com and watch clips of you favorite comedian or give your aching feet some well deserved pampering. Just chill out and do something you enjoy to relax and not stress!

  4. Be With Friends: Get a group of close friends together and enjoy a dinner and movie at home. Save money, relax, and have a good time. Don't forget the popcorn!

  5. Take A Vacation: Treat yourself to a mini vacation. Book a room at a nearby retreat with room service, indoor pool and spa. Bring along a friend, your spouse, or go for it by yourself. Pamper yourself and forget about work, stress, shopping, and just have fun!
