For me sometimes weekends are the hardest because I feel like I do not have work to occupy my mind. My mind tends to race when I am alone more. I hope everyone has a nice, safe and free feeling weekend.

Hi Spaceman, I was just talking to my friend about our weekends and one of the things we talked about was staying at home versus getting out and about. For me, when I stay at home, it is my safe place for sure but then my mind tends to race a lot and I feel more wound up. Whereas if I am out and about, my mind is occupied and I tend to relax more overall. Sometimes it's the idea of going out that gives me anxiety but once I am out I am totally fine. This past weekend I was at a family bbq and I didn't even think about my anxiety. I talked to my cousin about it but it didn't make me anxious. Overall I was able to forget about life's stresses.

yeah, when i'm not working and i'm home alone without plans for the weekend it gets tough. i try to occupy my mind even at home and give myself little projects. that always helps me.
