Haven't sleep a full night in over 2 weeks

I have been having serious issues with insomnia over the past 2 weeks. I usually can get at least 5 hours but its been bad. I need help! When I dont sleep my stress gets worse and my anxiety is through the roof. Ugh!

Have you tried any natural supplements like Valerian root or things like stress shield. CBD oil is also supposed to help but I have never tried it.

sleep is the worst for me. being alone in the dark and alone with my thoughts makes everything worse. my mind starts to race and anxiety gets worse and worse to the point where i'm having sleepless nights. i want to try something natural first.

anyone tried anything that works well for them?

Meditation and deep breathing are the only things that work for me at night otherwise my anxious mind starts to race out of control. I only focus on my breathing and if my mind wanders then I bring it back to my breathing. I breathe in for a count of four, hold for a count of four and exhale for a count of eight. Once I've calmed down, then I start regular breathing.

night is a nightmare for me. i dread nighttime and darkness because that's when my mind races the most. i can't stop thinking of my dad who passed away and then i get really sad and can't sleep. i have to watch tv to occupy my mind. i want to get back to a place of good sleep how i once used to be.
