does exercise help you guys with anxiety?

been reading more and more about how good exercise is for anxiety. i'm not big into working out but i am willing to try anything to help especially when i get really anxious and feel like i want to jump out of my own skin. i want to get into it but want to know if it's helped anyone here. thanks guys.

yeah, it helps me a lot. i'm about to go for a walk outdoors to try to catch my breath. my anxiety has been so bad that i need to get out and shake it off (hopefully). it's always helped me with my anxiety but i've been so busy lately and had so much going on that i haven't had time. maybe that's why it's been even worse lately.

Hi Digby, exercise is what keeps me centered. If I wasn't able to work off my anxiety I think that it would be far worse. When I am feeling really anxious, I get out for a walk or run and it melts all of my stress and anxiety off and away. I swear by it. I wish I had more time to exercise but I get in a work-out whenever I have time. It's so good for your mental health.
